I know it’s unfair to pit an Asus Eee PC notebook against a bunch of laptops in the market that is twice the size and also relatively cheap. What made me not buy an Asus Eee PC is because of my preferences and computer usage is very demanding. I work full time for our small publication business and I do a lot of layout and graphic design that’s why I need a solid machine that’s fast enough and with lots of storage. Downloading music and watching movies occasionally is also a part of my routine that’s why speed and storage is a big factor for me in choosing the right machine that would live up to my demands.

As the rest of the world celebrates father’s day, I want to take a time out to give props to all the fathers out there who are selflessly working hard to provide their families a better life. To all the fathers who work overtime just to send their kids to school. To all the fathers who faithfully love their wife. This is your day. Go ahead and treat yourself to a bottle of cold beer or go some place to relax. A strip club maybe? I’m just playing. LOL!

I received an email yesterday from a domain name sales agent offering and asking if I’d be interested in buying the domain name “pinoyraket.com”. I know that pinoyraket.com existed even before I came up with Pinoy Raket Online but that was purely unintentional. I only discovered the site pinoyraket.com when I had the urge to Google the keywords “Pinoy Raket” when Pinoy Raket Online was just a week old. I also discovered another site run by a fellow Filipino blogger that bears the word “raket” in her domain name and that is Raket Science.
